Bimetallic tube is composed of two different materials: usually inner material is a corrosion resistant alloy (copper, aluminium-brass, titanium) whereas the outer material is a high-stress resistant alloy (stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium). It is, however, possible to manufacture bimetallic tubes with any material combination.

In applications with high pressures and corrosive conditions, bimetallic tube permits a large economical savings in comparison with a tube made of a single alloy, since the use of precious materials is reduced to the minimum.

Bimetallic tubes offer an excellent technical and economical solution for the production of high-performance heat exchangers with high stress and corrosive conditions.

TS developed and patented an innovative method for manufacturing bimetallic tubes assuring an excellent quality level with a competitive price.

APPLICATIONS - BIMETALLIC TUBES

The common application fields are:

heat exchangers for power plants (electric, nuclear, thermal and geothermal power plants)

high corrosive systems (condensers, evaporators, sea water desalinations, fertilizing, urea systems, ammonia, gas, corrosive acids)

chemical and petrochemical industries

food processing and refrigeration industries

In the process of manufacturing Extruded Fin Tube, a Muff Tube (Outer) and a Base tube (Inner) are used. The base tube is inserted inside the muff tube. Then the fining is done by extruding the fins from the Muff Tube. During the process the muff tube forms a very strong bond with the Base tube ensuring almost no air gap or non contact area between the Muff Tube and the Base Tube.

Extruded Bimetallic Finned Tube is combined with same tube and fin materials of aluminum or two different materials.

Finned tube is composited with iron-aluminum or copper-aluminum tube rolling out the fin, which feathers are tightness, small heat resistance, good heat transfer performance, high strength, small flow losses, strong corrosion resistant performance, not easy to deformation and a long working lifetime in cold and hot condition, etc.

According to user needs, we can produce all kinds of steel strip winding finned tube and steel aluminum composite finned tube.

As the heat transfer element finned tube works long-term in high temperature and flue gas condition, such as finned tube in the boiler heat exchanger which use conditions are as high temperature and high pressure and corrosive atmosphere, should have a high performance metrics and they are as follows:Anti-corrosion ,Anti-wear,lower contact resistance ,Higher Stability,Anti-dust stratification.

Bimetallic Fin Tubes is the top most manufacturer, exporter and supplier of an excellent quality array of Bimetallic Fin Tubes. At our highly developed production unit, the offered tubes are manufactured with perfection using superior grade raw materials and cutting edge techniques. Known for their sturdy structure and impeccable finish, the provided tubes are used in heat exchangers. Available in varied specification, these Bimetallic Fin Tubes can be bought by our valued patrons at pocket friendly rates.

Features:

Light weight, High strength, Dimensional accuracy, Weather resistance nature

Depending on climatic conditions where the heat exchange elements are used they can be designed as monometallic (copper, cupronickel and aluminum tubes), bimetallic (bearing tube of cupronickel alloys, alloy, stainless steels, external - aluminum jacket) finned tubes obtained by roll forming and plain tubes for the water coolers. They meet all modern requirements to such kind of products and are on the level of the best native and foreign examples

"L" Wrap-on Fins:The aluminium strip foot section is first formed into an L shape and then tension wrapped on to the base tube. Wound fin base sections are close to each other so as ensure a continuous cover over the primary tube surface. Finally, the fin strip is fastened at ends to prevent loosening.

Knurled "L" Fins: An aluminum strip is folded to form an L shape and then wound around the base tube. The feet of the fins are joined together and covers the whole of the tube surface. The root of the fin is simultaneously knurled with the inner tube ensuring tight contact between fins and tube.

"G" Embedded Fins: Fin consists of an aluminium strip whose foot edge is tension wrapped and embedded into the primary tube wall.

Bimetallic Extruded Fins: A core tube, or liner is fitted into an aluminium primary tube. This tube-in-tube assembly is then fed into the finning machine equipped with three spindles. The gang discs which are stepped in profile and diameter will first extrude and shape the fin properly and then shrink fit the primary tube on its liner.
